The 35th ATEE Conference opened its gates on 26th August. With almost 350 VIP participants from all continents of the World this event in teacher education is the most important throughout the year 2010. With the collaboration of two well-known and honoured higher educational institutions, Eszterházy Károly College and Eötvös Lóránt University, the conference was organised by the Association of Hungarian Teacher Educators. Balázs-Diák Ltd as the main sponsor of the conference had the chance to represent itself at this very important event in the educational life.
The i-Doctum software have won the Worlddidac Award
The i-Doctum team has received the biggest honor that can happen to someone in the education sector. After years of hard work our product received the most well-known and prestigious award which is almost unique in Hungary and very rare in the world. The Worlddidac Award is the acknowledgement of Worlddidac which is the international association for education material developers. Every 2 years the award is granted to innovative products with high educational value.
From 26 to 30 August 2010, Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest and Eszterházy Károly College of Eger, in co-operation with the Association of Hungarian Teacher Education, will host the 35th ATEE (Association for teacher education in Europe) Annual Conference in Budapest.
From today the second part of Understanding and creating text (II) is available.
Based on the success of the first part and the feedbacks of students and teachers we believe that this new member of the i-Doctum family is more mature and more professional. In the beginning the software were available in CD format, now they are also available online and they can be downloaded from our website. If we want to keep up with the trends in the market, we can’t afford to stop at this level. The 3rd Generation of i-Doctum is our PRODUCT.

Worlddidac awards - Final
Bern
The final round of Worlddidac Award was organized in the beautiful capital of Switzerland, Bern. Two colleagues of the i-Doctum team held a presentation about the product before an 8 member professional jury. During the 20 minutes presentation in Berner Technologie Park we wanted to convince the jury that our product has the potential and quality to win this award among the 66 finalist and receive the recognition of the Worlddidac Association. The jury above all liked our 3D stereo animations.
Book Fair in Warsawa
The Warsaw book fair opened it’s doors for the visitors today. The i-Doctum team participates on the exhibition for the first time. The fair is organised in the Palace of Culture and Science which is one of the most beautiful buildings in Warsaw. The visitors can find book seller and book publisher companies and the i-Doctum stand on the 4th floor. The fair is open until Sunday.
One of the most well known education exhibition and fair, Worlddidac Basel, will be held between 27th-29th October in Basel. The winners of the Worlddidac Award will be announced during the exhibition. The i-Doctum team decided to sign up for this prestigious award. For many years it is the first time that a Hungarian team was nominated for the finals. The final contest will be held in Bern, 7th June, where the i-Doctum team will hold a presentation about the curriculums before the professional jury.
